Hello! I'm Cameron Maddox, a Spring 2025 graduate in Management Information Systems at Western Washington University. My road to MIS began with a fascination with Data Science. I found myself taking online courses in using Python as a Data Analysis tool but soon realized that I had a desire to integrate my tech understanding with the business world.

My journey has been marked by a strong foundation in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and proficiency in CRM systems. These skills, combined with my innate leadership abilities, drive my passion for harnessing the power of data in decision-making. As I advance my education and skills, I am eager to explore innovative solutions in data analytics, aiming to contribute significantly to this evolving field.

Outside of business and technology, I find joy in is endurance running. It has been a great teacher in the lessons of perseverance and determination. This is not only in the race itself, but the countless hours of training. Last year, I participated in the Chuckanut 50k. I prepared for this with a rigorous 6-month training plan. The plan was far from perfect, but I learned the importance of asking for help and how to modify a goal when roadblocks come up. Running by far has been one of my greatest mentors.
